| My story begins is Belfast Northern Ireland in the
1940's and 1950's. My grandparents were one of the premier Alsatian
(German Shepherd) breeders in the British Isles. When I arrived into
the world my family had left Ireland and moved to Canada.
My Grandfather really missed his dogs, they were his
life. Week after week I would sit on his knee and he would tell me
stories about Ireland and his dog's. It got to a point where I knew
his stories word for word, but I never tired of hearing them as his eyes
would light up as he told the stories and I knew he was reliving every
moment.
My life started out going in a different direction
as I spent most of my early years around horses. By the time I was
thirteen I was competing in Grand Prix Show Jumping and thought I would
be doing this for the rest of my active life, however my riding was cut
short with a couple of serious accidents.
During my show jumping career I had met a white Boxer
at the barn and fell head over heels in love with the breed.
I knew then that I had to have my own Boxer. Once I purchased
my first Boxer I joined the world of showing and breeding. |
